Midnight at the Reactor Core- Power Essentials

Overview

The Midnight overproject represents a return to my roots: sci-fi stuff. My original vision was much like Modular Furniture Series 4. The difference is that whereas MFS4 was utopian and clean-ish, Midnight is more gritty, for creating sinister, dystopian sets. The objects are made from scratch by me, and thoroughly tested.

So by this point I’ve made at least one major furniture set for all five divisions, plus a few “neutral” (non-division) sets. This is another huge set for Tech Division, and it includes everything you need for building a warp core, fusion reactor, or other power source for your ship or space station. Power Esentials includes 83 deco objects split up into three parts

The file includes:

Large Pipe System:  25 unique pieces that can be stacked together to make your own power plant, etc.

Small Pipe System:  55 unique pieces that can be stacked together.

Generators: Three big deco generators.

Everything is Compressorized. Includes a collection file.

I’ve included the master objects for the base textures in a separate folder.

  1. Hi! That's about right. They're all deco objects. The collars are at the same height for both styles of pipe; the only real difference is that for the smaller set, the pipe/tube/glass/glowing bawbee is scaled so that it fits the 1-tile collar.

  2. (sorry for double post)… I noticed that \”Large\” Piping and \”Small\” Piping have… pretty much the same … description. I take it one is just scaled down from the other set? or ???(I write down details of the meshes on a text file, mostly for referencing, when deciding which content to install)

  3. Hi, Xia! Yup. The big pipe set is better suited for giant engine rooms, and the small set is more conveniently sized. I wanted to add a few things to make the sets usable together (reducers and manifolds and so on), but as is the set is 81 pieces. Maybe someday I'll make some add-ons.
