Midnight at… Remastered 03

Happy Friday, all!

Overview: This has been a long time coming. While I’m proud of the Midnight at… series as a whole and consider it some of my best work, I can’t help but go back and look at it differently six years after release. There are parts of it I’m not satisfied with, and this old dog has learned a few new tricks in the interim between when it was first released in 2017 and now. I present a better working, better looking Midnight at… series.

This set specifically: Midnight at the Decontamination Chamber has some neat new features.

• The decontamination console is now functional instead of just a set piece. The Sims can use it to gain Cleaning points.
• The decontamination locker has some cool new features. The Sims can decontaminate their safety gear (i.e. change to nude) or gear up in casual or outerwear. Additionally, the male and female uniforms can be altered through the object’s menu.
• Fixed the coding on the decontamination showers so that the Sim doesn’t immediately dress when stepping out because that annoys me.
• Fixed thumbnails/scenegraphs on benches.
• The uniform lockers have been updated with new duty uniforms/jumpsuits.
• Shorter file names, better catalog categorization, and more reasonable prices. And of course a collection file.

The Objects

Decontamination Console
Features a slight remesh and better functionality

Decontamination Showers
Better SFX and interactions.

Benches
They work like regular Maxis seating.

Uniform Lockers
They work like Maxis armoires. I updated the mesh to match the new duty uniform and added new lockers for short- and long-sleeved jumpsuits.
